Jeff was born in British Columbia, Canada on a lake inhabited by a giant mythical serpent. An intensely rehearsed magic show for his extended family at 5 yrs of age won him early praise, despite losing the crucial rabbit. Jeff’s mother still owns that magic kit. The rabbit, however, is still missing. Moving to Montréal, he first studied at l’École de Mime Omnibus and then later in the Le Coq style, with the vetran Cirque de Soleil clown, Rene Bazinet. In Southern France, Jeff was a masterclass resident at le Hanger des Mines with the renowned clown maestro, Michel Dallaire. In performance puppetry, Jeff has studied with Neville Tranter and the Australian shadow-master Richard Bradshaw. |

Performing internationally since 1999, Jeff’s silent clown character, Mr Bunk, is influenced by traditional European street clowning and audience improvisation. His unique performances are in demand world-wide, and he appears regularly at arts festivals, variety theaters and cabarets around the globe. Recent performances have taken him to Malaysia, South Africa, Singapore, Poland, UK, New Zealand, Spain, Australia, Belgium and Macedonia .
